I’ve used a pure copper lota/kalash, and this is one of those items that feels simple… but very intentional. First thing, the material matters a lot. Copper isn’t just for tradition, it’s actually used because it’s believed to have purifying and antimicrobial properties, which is why it’s commonly used in pooja rituals and even for storing drinking water. It’s been part of Indian households for generations.
